The dust storm

We had the dust storm here same time as everyone else did I'm just slow at adding the pictures.

I woke right at dawn that day and I could not believe the colors out side, at first I thought "there's a fire" then "the end of the world" then "its sooo pretty" I made everyone get up and have a look (they were NOT as impressed as I was)

I brought myself a new pot plant that sits on my kitchen window sill and I had to take this photo of it with the afternoon sun beaming through the fly screen onto the leaves.

Dressmaking

My cousin married this month and I decided that I would make a dress for the occasion.
I made my own pattern and everything. Here are some pictures of Violet in her paper dress. Stunning isn't she?


I have finished the dress but we didn't seem to get any pictures of me in it so they will come later.

Things are grow'in

Well with the warm weather S and I have all sorts of things growing in our garden, we planted carrots, beans, lettuce, a herb I can't think of, tomatoes and some flowers now there is also many little trees coming up too but not intentionally we call them helicopter trees because of the seeds they grow from! so here are some photos they were taken about 2 weeks ago so everything is much bigger now.




Basil that's it and also a potato.

because all girls should be called flower names!!!

Well I don't know that I fully agree with him that all girls be flowers but it is a lovely thought for a 4 year old.
